Reflective Practice for Primary English Teachers : A Qualitative Analysis of Expert Interviews

چکیده

Professional advice plays a crucial role in (future) teachers’ development. During an international lecture series, group of researchers and practitioners gave talks on various topics related to the field teaching English young leaners (TEYL). Their presentations were followed by interviews that aimed at identifying practical implications for teaching. Following qualitative approach, responses transcribed summarized categories. The suggestions include providing wellchosen input, structuring lessons clearly, reflecting methods critically, applying TPR, using child-oriented media employing picturebooks. On basis, we derive future TEYL exchanges.
